Rafe Judkins still plugging away at the Wheel of Time Script!

Rafe Judkins the Wheel of Time Showrunner has dropped hints and teased us with hashtags on his social media account before but this is the first time he's actually said the magical words.

Asked what he was working on he said:
a couple things, but mostly the Wheel of Time series! Lots of ladies shooting fireballs ;)

Now if he's not just giving a slightly humorous general description with the "lots of ladies shooting fireballs"comment, that may give us a clue as to how he's writing Wheel of Time and at what point in the books he's at.

Assuming he's staying relatively true to the books...the first "Fireball" or what could be considered a Fireball, is on the road to Shadar Logoth when the team encounter the Trollocs. That is unless Rafe has chosen to show the attack on Emonds Field. In both cases, it's just Moiraine though, not "lots of ladies". Next would be the run up to the Eye of the World in the Blight but once again that's just Moiraine.

So either Rafe is making a departure from what occurs in EotW or he's writing scenes from book two already. There are a few scenes in The Great Hunt where ladies could be shooting fireballs. If that is the case, this means that Rafe is past writing just the first episode of the show and is deep into the first season.

Time will tell and hopefully this is a sign Rafe is opening up about his work, and more will follow. Fingers crossed!
